Utah’s Children’s Justice Centers provide a child-friendly atmosphere designed to help children feel safe and comfortable while they are being interviewed regarding alleged abuse. Audio and video equipment is used to preserve the interview for evidence and eliminate the need for multiple interviews.

The Children’s Justice Center coordinates:

A comprehensive child and family interview process by trained professionals
Audio/Video taped interviews in a child friendly environment
Counseling and treatment referrals
Case progress tracking
Community and professional education on abuse issues
Support and informational services for parents and guardians
Case staffing by a team of professionals
