Duchesne County is proud to work with our public lands partners to encourage responsible stewardship and build a prosperous future for County residents. To assist in the coordination of these efforts, the County works with our public lands partners directly and through various committee opportunities, such as the Public Lands Coordinating Council. The County also works with the State of Utah's Public Lands Policy Coordinating Office (PLPCO) to provide input to public lands policy decisions.
If you have any questions regarding Duchesne County's partnerships with our public land parterns, or the County's position on any public lands policies, please contact Mike Hyde, AICP, in our Community Development Department.
