Mobile Home Removal
Duchesne County has a trailer removal program that provides a financial incentive for property owners to remove derelict mobile homes from their property. The county pays up to $750.00 for removal of single-wides at least 40 feet long and up to $500.00 for single-wides under 40 feet long. Double-wides receive up to $1,000.00. The owner may do the work or hire a contractor from a list supplied by the County. Tipping fees at the landfill are reimbursed. Recreational vehicles/campers are eligible for landfill tippage fee reimbursement only. Mobile homes, recreational vehicles/campers shall be accompanied by a title or Affidavit of Abandoned Vehicle when delivered at the landfill or they will not be accepted. Mobile homes, recreational vehicles/campers transported to the landfill shall be free of solid waste and loads shall be transported in a manner that is safe and secured to prevent waste from littering the roadways.
