Building and Grounds Maintenance

The Maintenance, Building, & Grounds Department is responsible for the maintenance and ground work for over Twenty County owned buildings. It is the goal of the Department to provide a safe, clean working environment for County employees, residents as well as visitors. Various independent contractors are utilized to achieve this goal.

Duties of the Building & Grounds Maintenance Department:

• Responsible for maintaining the electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems in operational order. Implementing a preventive maintenance program for all systems. 
• Responsible for remodeling projects including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, grounds work, etc.
• Responsible for the cleaning of the interior and exterior of the buildings. Such as deep cleaning of offices, bathrooms, conference rooms, weed removal, lawn maintenance, and general landscaping.
• Responsible for the maintenance of County Fleet Vehicles
