On Thursday, September 9, 2024, Duchesne County solicited a request for proposals (RFP) to all qualified professional services firms for the development and production of a county-wide General Plan. A copy of the RFP can be found here:

RFP DUCHESNE COUNTY GENERAL PLAN 09/12/24

Interested offerors are requested to submit a scope of work proposal to the Community Development Department by end of day on Thursday, October 2, 2024. This scope of work must identify all tasks, deliverables, cost estimates, timetables, and personnel necessary to provide the best General Plan for Duchesne County. This project is estimated to be completed within 18 months. Submissions are accepted by sealed envelope, titled and addressed in the following ways:

All submissions will be opened in a public meeting on Monday, October 7, 2024.

A general plan is an advisory planning document adopted by the County to set general guidelines for future development of the unincorporated land within the County. Duchesne County's current version of its General Plan can be found on the Community Planning Documents and Guides webpage.
