Mission Statement
The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to providing the best law enforcement services we possibly can to the citizens of Duchesne County. Our goal is a county that is a safe environment for all of the citizens that reside here and any who may visit. We will work to provide this service with integrity, honesty and with respect. We will work to insure that our officers are trained to a high degree of professionalism. The law enforcement code of ethics will be the guiding principal in all we do.
Justice Center
The Duchesne County Justice Center was completed in 1997 and houses the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, the Duchesne County Jail, the Duchesne County Attorney’s Office, The Duchesne County Justice Court, and the State of Utah 8th District Court. The facility is located on the hill North of Duchesne. It is reached by turning North on State Road 87 in the Center of Duchesne, traveling approximately 1 mile and then turning right and continuing on up the hill and to the East. The road is well signed.
