There is a kiosk machine in the lobby of the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office, where you can place money on an inmate's commissary account.

Rules
Only three (3) visitors shall be allowed in the visiting booth at one time.
Minors who are not related to the inmate will not be allowed to visit.
A photo ID, drivers License, or school ID card will be required for all visitors 18 years of age or older.
Young children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
No food or drink is allowed in the visiting room.
No Cameras are allowed in visiting.
Inmates are allowed a maximum of two 1/2-hour visits per weekend for a total of one hour per week. Saturday will be considered the first day of the week.
A log is kept of visitor name, time, and inmates name.
Visitors will not be allowed to leave any items.
Visits are a privilege and may be terminated by any Correctional Officer for poor conduct by either the visitor or the inmate at any time.
Current or former members of any Correctional Facility are prohibited from visiting with inmates. Exception of this rule may be if one (1) year has lapsed since their release.
Authorized clergymen, Attorney's, Adult Probation, Parole and Bail Bondsmen who are properly identified will be allowed to make unscheduled visits when it is not in conflict with the facilities operation.
Calling an Inmate
Inmates may not receive incoming telephone calls, however, an account may be setup so they can place phone calls. You will need the inmates name number. The inmate may also purchase a phone card with monies from their commissary account.

Letters cannot have stickers, glitter, lipstick or perfume on them. Incoming mail will be passed to the inmates within 24 hours of DCJ receiving it.

To make a deposit on the inmate's commissary account, you will need the inmates name number.

Lobby Kiosk Machines
When visiting an inmate, money may be deposited into their account by depositing cash and/or using your debit/credit card. These machines will transfer the funds into the inmate's commissary account.
Personal hygiene items cannot be brought into the jail. All items must be purchased through commissary. All commissary is ordered through the kiosk machines in the sections Wednesdays through Mondays.
Pay for Stay
Duchesne County Jail is enforcing the Pay For Stay Policy per Utah State Code 76-3-201. Duchesne County charges $45.00 per day for persons who have been sentenced to stay at our facility. These fees can be paid online at https://www.payforstay.com/index.php or by calling 435-738-1186.
