Mission Statement:
The mission of the Duchesne County Library System is to provide quality library services to our patrons, including up to date recreational and informational materials in a variety of formats.
About Us:
The Duchesne County Library System consists of two Branch Libraries. Our library system headquarters is located in Duchesne. A second branch is available to library users in Roosevelt. The service area of our library system takes in all of Duchesne County and the western portion of Uintah County. The population of our service area is approximately 18,000 residents.
Our library system offers a wide variety of books, audio books, playaways, videos, dvds, and reference materials. We offer library users access to the Internet via public access computers. Free wireless connections are available at both libraries.
Each year it is our pleasure to provide a summer reading program for children. The Duchesne Library provides a weekly story hour program every Tuesday. The weekly story hour program at the Roosevelt Library is offered every Wednesday.
For more information on what is happening at our library system consult the latest edition of the Library Bulletin or the pages of this site that are dedicated to the Duchesne and Roosevelt Libraries.
